[Qgis-developer] espg element removed from qgs project file?

Yes.  It was replaced by the authid, which consists of an authority and an id -
where authority can be EPSG or something else.  The srs database now contains
also a CRS from OSGEO and 267 CRSs from IGNF (french INSTITUT GEOGRAPHIQUE
NATIONAL), which are used in WMS(C) servers.

No, as said authority:id.
