[Qgis-developer] Diagrams: one or two?

Hi all.
Until recently, in Vector properties we had two Diagrams tabs (one old,
no PAL, one new, with autoplacement). Now I only see one. Redicing
duplication is a *good thing*, and users will be happy about it. The
problem is, some features (histograms, scalable SVGs) are missing from
the new implementation.
Is this only a transition, and there are plan to complete the features
of new Diagrams, or?
