Please Aldo note that the new labelling is very slow, and has a number of bugs to be fixed before removing the old one.

Nathan,

thanks for the move. Two labelling eninges is impossible to explain to 
users. One thing, though: The old engine allows for setting a rotation 
independent from also setting an x and y field.
