Hi,

This should not happen with new users of the cpt-city ramps.

Have you downloaded the new version of Color Ramp Manager?  cpt-city
file locations have changed, so you need to reset them in the color
ramp manager.

To get the "buitlin" ramps (a tiny selection for now), you need to
select "Use gradients that ship with qgis" in the color ramp manager
(this is default for new users).

You also have the option of downloading a more complete selection, and
also the full cpt-city package.
