[Qgis-developer] Download stats

Hi,

If we do collect data, we should clearly inform the users about this
data collection (and what data is stored) - and add an option to opt out
from this data collection.

It is hard to build trust, but easy to loose trust.

Of course I would also be curious about the stats ;-)
