Hi All

Can anyone help withthe correct procedure for installing older versions on
debian Jessie from package?

root at 6b2c81edac61:/# apt-get install qgis=2.4.0-1+b1
qgis-providers=2.4.0-1+b1 qgis-common=2.4.0-1

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 qgis-providers : Depends: qgis-providers-common (= 2.4.0-1) but
2.6.1.1+jessie1 is to be installed
W: Ignoring Provides line with DepCompareOp for package
php-psr-log-implementation
W: You may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

It would be nice to have the historical versions available for install
given that with various things changing over releases, it is nice to be
able to replicate a known good configuration for a given software
architecture.

Regards

Tim
