A Qt5 compatible version is already needed.

QGIS is one of the blockers for the Qt4 WebKit removal in Debian for 
example (see: https://bugs.debian.org/784514).

For Debian that's probably too late, the freeze in preparation for the 
stretch stable release will likely happen in November 2016.
