font-family:Arial'>Is there any reason why I have to copy the ECW libs (NCScnet.dll,
NCSEcw.dll, NCSEcwC.dll, NCSUtil.dll) into the qgis app directory (%OSGEO4W_ROOT%"\apps\qgis\bin)
to get ECW support? When I place the libs into the %OSGEO4W_ROOT%\bin directory,
ECW support for gdal 1.5 and 1.6 works fine, but qgis does not register the
format.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
