<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" ><tr><td valign="top" style="font: inherit;">I have used QGIS from an OSGEO build and I find the refresh rates for 
layers to be very slow. Is there anything that I can do to overcome this
 problem. I am willing to compile myself if there anything I can do to
