
<html><head><style type='text/css'>p { margin: 0; }</style></head><body><div style='font-family: Verdana; font-size: 10pt; color: #000000'>Hi,<br><br>The osgeo installer has now pushed me along to 1.8 (is there an easy way back to 1.7?). <br><br>I'm now seeing this error flying past many, many times at great speed:<br><br>"Try setting the GDAL_DATA environment variable to point to the<br>directory containing EPSG csv files.<br>Unable to open EPSG support file gcs.csv."<br><br>I think GDAL_DATA should be %OSGEO4W_ROOT%\share\gdal<br>but I do not know where it should be set.<br><br>Any suggestions?<br><br>-ramon.<br></div></body></html>
