We discovered that also the plugin repository never uses proxy user/password.<br>

It work only with proxy anonymous (without user/pwd).<br></blockquote><div>QGis uses a QT class (QNetworkAccessManager)
to handle the user authentication, <br>so I would exclude this is a QGis bug.<br><br>Indeed if it were a QGis bug, e.g. an error in setting proxy host and port, <br>then connection shouldn't have to work also without authentication.<br>

So to update the plugins we need to put the repositories in the white-list<br>
(very very bad practice for network administrators).<br>
