Werner - I just tested with OSGeo4W 1.7.2.1 on Windows and the problem still exists if you set project properties to "relative paths".<br>

without any problem .. So I'd say probably this is not a problem in<br>
1.7.x<br>
But I could also do something "wrong".. Just adding a jpg as image to<br>
