I'm thinking, Is there some way to scan the public C++ API and check if it has a sip binding?

- Nathan

On Fri, Mar 23, 2012 at 5:10 PM, Jürgen E. <jef@norbit.de> wrote:

I second that. We should not put strong requirements on contributions. Neat
things could not find their way into QGIS if we require people to jump though
many hoops.
C++ code without SIP bindings is better than no code a all. The SIP bindings
could also be added by someone else.
If people need more than there is, they can always ask for it (filing a feature
request), (learn how to) add it themselves or ultimatly hire someone to do it.
