Hi Pierre,<br>
<br>
I have been incorporated into the core dev team very recently, and I
am somehow assigned to the map tools ;)<br>
<br>
I put the dev list in copy, since there should be someone arond
who's more aware on the topic.<br>
I saw that Martin Dobias was the committer for the topology editing
[0]. Martin, do you have any suggstion on this?<br>
<br>
On the side, your fixes are more than welcome, thanks a lot for your
work.<br>
<br>
Cheers,<br>

<br>
<br>
I saw that you merged my patches for several bugs in topology
editing, that's great !

I also saw that I forgot yet again to update the SIP bindings,
that's not that great ... Thanks for the correction, I'll be more
careful next time.

I was wondering what is the state of topology editing in QGis. Are
you the maintainer for this part? I saw a few very promising posts
such as <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://hub.qgis.org/issues/3483">http://hub.qgis.org/issues/3483</a> and
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://strk.keybit.net/blog/2011/10/14/postgis-topology-iso-sqlmm-complete/">http://strk.keybit.net/blog/2011/10/14/postgis-topology-iso-sqlmm-complete/</a>
but that was two years ago and not much seems to have happened
after that.

<br>
Is there someone working on it? Is there a direction defined for
topological editing in QGis? Should I continue resolving the bugs
and expanding on the hackish topology editing currently present in
QGis (let's face it, it is not very good ...), or is it useless
and proper support is going to come? I can also try to help for
this proper support but I am afraid it is a bit above my current
free time and abilities ...
<br>
<br>
Regards,

Pierre
