    wouldn't it be better not to mention it at all in the changelog if
    it isn't really visible to the user? Better to mention it at the
    next release.<br>

        That is the expected experience, the digitizing tools are coming
        after 2.10 (construction tools and node tool with z-/m support).
        Symbology, edit tool and other tools still segmentize the
        geometries at the moment.<br>
