problem is to not download a js lib, which I suppose is used
to download and parse the feed, why don't use a piece of
(python or C++) code into QGIS to download and parse the feed?<br>

Before we decide *how* to do it, we should decide *if* we do it.<br>

If we decide not to do it the js lib is gone anyway.<br>
<br>
If we decided that we do it, we can decide what kind of parser we
want. And I'd strongly vote for using an existing parser.<br>
