<p>There is (hopefully was) this annoying ESRI Shape Repack issue - see <a href="http://hub.qgis.org/issues/11007">http://hub.qgis.org/issues/11007</a></p>

<p>I see that this bug was re-opened - Antoine SIG claims that it worked in 2.14.1 and 2.14.2 (Windows) but fails again in 2.14.3. Can someone confirm? How can that happen? Can a test be added to ensure this doesn't fail again?</p>

<p>How about 2.16? Does it work there if it is built with GDAL 2.x?</p>

<p>I can't reproduce, since I don't have another GIS besides QGIS to check.</p>
