we run a feedjack plugin in the <a href="http://plugins.qgis.org" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">plugins.qgis.org</a> Django website.<br>

There is a small cronjob pulling the feeds from feedjack and caching<br>
them on disk, where some javascript pulls them into <a href="http://qgis.org" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">qgis.org</a> [0][1]<br>
