<p>Strange, I tested it again, created several new spatial bookmarks
and there is still no problem for me.</p>
<p>I use QGIS 2.18.11, local build.<br>

* zoom somewhere and add a new bookmark, check "in project"

bookmark<br>

All worked as expected. I zoomed in the bookmark location and
the "in<br>
project" bookmark disappear in a new project.<br>
