Dear devs,

I am trying to compile QGIS3 (release_3-0) on a freshly
                install Ubuntu
18.04 (bionic). All seems to go well, no error messages
                during
configuration or running make and make install.

When trying to run QGIS, however, I am getting the
                following error:

./qgis: error while loading shared libraries:
                libqgis_app.so.3.0.2:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or
                directory

Any idea what went wrong here, and how to solve this?

Best wishes,
