I think it's important to note that this GDAL3/PROJ6 transition was always going to be rocky (whether we applied it to 3.4 LTR or delayed it of 4 months when 3.10 LTR will replace 3.4. <div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">One reason being most core developers are on linux distributions, where a gdal3/proj6 environment isn't available out of the box.
