<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-fareast-language:EN-US">I'm also interested to be able to see selected features even when hiden by others. When working with polygons only represented by a contour line, you can completly miss a selected polygon if all
other contiguous features are drawn after the selected one. A workaround I found for features within the same layer is to change the rendering order by using the expression is_selected() in ascending order (Layer Properties -> Symbology -> Layer Rendering
-> Control feature rendering order). Hovewer, this needs to be done each time a layer is added and won't help if an other layer is on top and hide the feature you selected.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

any way to have it show that there is a highlighted feature there even though it is underneath non-highlighted features? In ArcMap the highlights are always shown on the top level of the canvas even if they are covered by non-highlighted features.<o:p></o:p></p>
