[Qgis-edu] QGIS certification

Hi,
During last QGIS hackfest in Wrocław [1] proposal of certification
program for QGIS users was presented by polish team (Robert, Milena,
Borys). After that, Tim organized meeting when we discussed about this
idea. Minutes from this meeting are below...

5. Paolo Cavallini (Italy)
6. Werner Macho (Austria)
7. Robert Szczepanek (Poland)
8. Maris Nartišs (Latvia)
9. Peteris Bruns (Latvia)
Certification process will be addressed for beginner users. More
advanced certifications can be prepared later. Preliminary name of this
initiative can be "QGIS Academy".
Level of questions should be basic (very basic) to encourage people to
participate. Certification prices should be at relatively low level.
Our goal is to make first exam in one year.
What we need for certification (who will lead)
0/ Run mailing list as main channel of communication at this stage -
already done by Otto (thanks) if you read this :)
1/ Syllabus (? Robert)
2/ Policy (Tim)
3/ Sample datasets (Otto) - we need at least 2 datasets
4/ Wiki page (?)
5/ Examination platform [Moodle?] (Werner) Certification will be
automatized and internet based.
6/ Start set of tasks/questions (Paolo).
7/ SVN for courses storage (?)
8/ Certificate design (Robert)
