It would be good to have someone else for GUI translation team lead who has
access to svn and if possible also maintains it. So I would vote for an extended
1), because I would prefere to have more time to work e.g. on a documentation
team as team lead.

I just added my name under "GUI translation team lead" to relieve Marco a
little, and because in general I think developers should work on other things.

My thoughts are that a translation manager would be great taking care of the
process with svn access. In the beginning I could support him and help, if there
are problems. It fits quite well with the organization of the manual and
its translations and the contributing people are potentially the same. I
also have svn write access and can commit translations (I already do for several
people). This would be no problem.

regards,
 Otto
