Dear qgis-doc list members,

together with the forming of a QGIS "Community Team", we decided to create
a new mailing list "qgis-community-team" and will today automatically subscribe
all current list members (you!) to that new list. This step is necessary and far
less complicated than renaming.

http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-community-team

Procedure:
---------

You will receive a "welcome" mail from the new mailing list soon and we would
like to ask you to send your mails to this new list from now on for all
community related questions. Please also consider to change your automatically
assigned password for the new list.

NOTE: We will close the "old" qgis-doc list within the next weeks.

The new "qgis-community-team" list will handle all community related topics,
including documentation but also GUI translation, User and Conference Corner,
management of QGIS.org online experience such as wiki, forum, blog and many
more.

If you have any questions, please write to the new list or directly to me and we
apologise for any inconvenience.

kind regards,
 Otto
