I guess now, with the 1.0.0 release, or? The new page is maybe not perfect but I
think it is already good enough and all urls in the manual etc. link already to
qgis.osgeo.org. Btw. we probably should also link qgis.org to qgis.osgeo.org?

yes I agree. At the moment I am just a little insecure, because I don't have a
room yet. I guess I will officially announce the meeting not until I know where
we hold the meeting, what accomodation is available and how many people fit in
the meeting room.
