Hi Tim

I am not yet very confident about the inclusion of threading branch
for the next release. I am aware of few bugs which I consider critical
that should be fixed prior to merging it to trunk. And there will be
probably more - for eliminating them we need a period of heavy testing
and then heavy bugfixing :-) So if I would merge the branch to trunk
e.g. at the end of january, the release should happen probably
sometime during march. But I will try to work on it and prepare it for
1.7 anyway.

The new plugin repository sounds like a more realistic target thanks
to Alessandro who has already developed it, now it needs some testing
and polishing (graphics, usability).

Regards
Martin
