As a non psc member but a owner of some Apple stuff +1 to buying an apple
account and doing whatever we need to make this process smooth for users.
It only helps to spread the QGIS to more users..

The Apple situation is what it is and no bashing on them is going to change
it so let it be please. If you care about total freedom run a fully FOSS
system but a lot of people don't and you will never be able to teach them
who to trust, heck I don't even know who to trust FOSS software or not.

I believe we have the best open source GIS package in the world and should
spread it info every place that is possible. Sometimes that means we don't
have control over everything.

So +1 because we have the funds, it's better for users, we loose nothing,
quit the Apple bashing, get on with it (not directed at you Larry)

Nathan.
