Hi,

Now that we have the budget approved I'd like to propose how to split the
available documentation budget:

We have 20k € in the budget and we propose to split it roughly among three
people 6-7k each: Harrissou Sant-ann, Larissa Junek and Felix Feckler (from
Otto Dassau's company GBD-Consult).

The idea is to pay 40 € per hour and that would last for approx 500 hours
or 12.5 weeks.

I also asked Matteo if he is interested, but he replied that if I have
others who want to work on documentation that they can have precedence.

Can I have your approval to splitting the documentation budget among these
three persons?

Thank you for your replies,
Andreas

-----------------

BTW: Larissa sent me a summary what she and Felixdid with the budget last
year:

worked on new features of the QGIS 3.10 LTR version and the current stable
QGIS 3.16 version.

QGIS 3.10 LTR: now detailed documentation is available for

   - the new Identify Results Dialog: auto open form for single feature
   results
   - the Label Toolbar: multiline alignment setting
   - the Style Manager: label anchor points
   - the Vector Tiles functionalities: create a connection, working with
   zoom levels
   - the 3D Map View functionalities: create a 3D scene
   - new Print Composer functionalities: clipping to map item
   - database transaction support for Oracle Database Connections
   - and many more …

QGIS 3.16: the team (I assume that means Felix and other GBD people)
mainly worked on

   - Datasource Manager : the new open vector layer parameters derived from
   OGR shapefile driver
   - Vector Tiles: a complete new chapter describing functionalities
   - Processing Toolbox: the updated merge vector layer tool
   - the new autofix broken paths features
   - Print Composer: a complete new chapter table items including the new
   fixed table item
   - and many more …"
