Hi all

I would like to report results of the "Fixing terrain and camera issues in
3D" work. See the proposal for more details:
https://github.com/qgis/QGIS-Enhancement-Proposals/issues/215

Two issues were fixed in QGIS 3.22:
1. Terrain entity is always present -
https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/pull/45979
2. Data in 3D view appearing twice - https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/pull/44367

Two remaining issues will be fixed in upcoming QGIS 3.24:
1. Unintuitive camera rotation
2. Wrong center point when zooming in/out and rotating
Both done within https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/pull/45979

Hopefully all these improvements will make the 3D map view easier to use.

Many thanks to QGIS.org for supporting this work. Especially the camera
control issues were quite tricky to fix, so big thanks to Belgacem who
worked hard on that!

Regards
Martin
