Thanks for pushing this and making more use of this valuable mechanism!

Can I request that you set the geographic filter and language filter for
news entries? We don't want to show entries for local events outside of the
geographic region, and I shouldn't be seeing entries in a different
language to my QGIS. I've fixed the filter for the current entry, but just
something to keep in mind for next time! 👍
