<div dir="ltr">Good news everyone. I have kicked of the logo design contest at <a href="http://99designs.com.au/logo-design/contests/qgis-needs-logo-210397">http://99designs.com.au/logo-design/contests/qgis-needs-logo-210397</a>. The contest can take submissions for 3 days and then it turns into picking which designs we like at taking them into the final design round to get tweaks. Overall the process should only take 7 days.<div>
<br></div><div>Keep an eye on that page to see if there is any new designs. The design brief is here <a href="http://99designs.com.au/logo-design/contests/qgis-needs-logo-210397/brief">http://99designs.com.au/logo-design/contests/qgis-needs-logo-210397/brief</a> and can be updated if anyone would like to add or change anything.</div>
<div><br></div><div style>If none of the design come back with what we want we are able to get our money back.</div><div><div><br></div><div style>- Nathan</div></div></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br><br><div class="gmail_quote">

<div dir="ltr">Hey PSC,<div><br></div><div>I would like to kick of the logo comp in order to start the process before the next hackfest so that designs can be reviewed then, or just after. Once we have a revamped logo then branding the website will be easier. I would like to use <a href="http://99designs.com.au" target="_blank">99designs.com.au</a> as there a lot of impressive designs on the site and you don't have to pick a design if you don't like any that are presented.</div>
<div><br></div><div>I think a good amount to spend on a revamped logo would be $400. Given our larger bank balance this year I think it would be money well spent.</div><div><br></div><div>If $400 is Ok I would like to start the process in the next few days. I can coordinate with Paolo regarding the money side of things.</div>
