Yes - this would be really useful to have in 2.14!<br>
<br>
One of my upcoming projects will be around QGIS server and tiling -
so I am really interested in seeing this land in master and - if
possible - in 2.14.<br>

It seems fair to me, but the decision is up to Jürgen as a
