I don't know if any PSC has time to travel to the US on May 5 - please PSC colleagues, speak up, if you could travel. There is, however, a QGIS core dev (Larry Shaffer, see his e-mail in cc) who is quite involved with the project and could potentially speak at your event.</p><p>Regarding QGIS and Web-GIS:</p><p>QGIS server is a OGC compatible Mapserver that can use the QGIS project files as configuration. It means that you can prepare your project in QGIS desktop and deploy it to the web through QGIS server.</p><p>Regarding the Web-GIS client, there are two projects: QGIS Web Client 2 and Lizmap. They are kind of "friendly competitors" with slightly different goals or technologies involved.
