<p>Please forward the technical details. 4-5 days of work is a substantial investment, so we need to better understand what is involved, what are the suggestions for speeding up PNG encoding and what the expected result will be.</p>
<p>If possible, I would still propose to ask the City of Uster, if they would pay for it. But, they would need, just like we - more details and an offer.</p>

The City of Uster would be willing to finance this, but they need a clear plan and some guarantee that there actually will be a sensible performance improvement. They can't just sponsor on the outlook that it may or may not be an improvement (meaning they can't fund general research were the outcome is uncertain).<br /><br /></div>
Andreas Vonlaufen would be the contact in uster. Andreas knows about the project but apparently the contract wasn't agreed upon yet, as the outcome of the proposal was too uncertain for the City of Uster.<br /><br /></div>
