<p>In preparation for this QGIS Doc Strategy meeting, I've finalised
my essay on "Why I think the QGIS Doc Team is struggling, and what
I think we can do about it". It is a 25 min read, going into lots
of detail, quoting and summarising many of you. You might want to
limit your reading to the Summary.<br>

<p>Extra sections added since last published are:</p>
<p>* "Summary": Add suggestion that we lobby the greater open-source
community to fix tools (don't do it ourselves)<br>
* "QGIS Community questionnaire about docs" - collection of
comments and recommendations<br>
* "Documentation best practices"<br>
* "Andreas, Paulo and Tim, considering funding": Add discussion
about 2019 QGIS Budget</p>

(Maybe you'd like to retweet. I'm hoping we might raise awareness
and engagement by getting the story out). <br>
</p>
<p>Could someone please forward to the QGIS PSC, I'm not subscribed.</p>
<p>Who is responsible for the QGIS blog? Would it be worthwhile
creating a QGIS blog post out of the Summary of this essay?<br>

<div>The idea is that, between the PSC and the
documentation collaborators (and anyone else

documentation that will allow us, as a project,
to deliver good-quality, useful and updated
documentation for QGIS. Here's a Doodle survey
to find the best time for a meeting. <br>
