Hi all

plugins.qgis.org is a great page where one can have a look at
the many amazing contributed QGIS plugins.

At least that is what the url suggests which I think is a bit
unfortunate since plugins.qgis.org is much more than that.

on plugins.qgis.org we have:
- the plugins
- the feed aggregator (planet)
- the user map

Good point! I agree that plugins.qgis.org is not representative
of all the content we have on the site.

in the future we might have more things coming there (see the
other discussion about style and layout hub) hence my proposal
to change plugins.qgis.org to hub.qgis.org and consolidate
everything there roughly like this:

the documentation and blog link are just external link for
convenience.

The idea is to have 2 entry points to QGIS.

- qgis.org is for "acquiring" users and explaining what qgis
(and qgis.org) is and works
- hub.qgis.org is for user that work wir qgis and need more
information, templates, news and so on.

I personally think it would be a great improvement that comes
with very little work. We can of course keep the current urls
like planet.qgis and plugins.qgis (for commodity of the users
that already use them and for SEO), and redirect them here

what do you think?
