I don't recall the arguments we had for not allowing user groups to join the certificate program and I'm not against that.

Applications of official User Groups will be immediately accepted by the reviewer. User Groups by definition contribute to QGIS and we can assume that given the expertise in the group the course materials are of high quality and up-to-date.

After application of a User Group they are asked to provide course materials for review. PSC takes decision based on advise from reviewer (in the normal procedure a User Group takes the decision and if there's no User Group, the PSC takes the decision based
on advise from the reviewer).

Same as 2, but reviewer takes the decission without involvement of PSC.

-----------------------------------

Dear Andreas, I have a query.

As a group of users can we be part of the certification program?

I reviewed the certification process and registered our request, however, I received an email in which they mention that user groups cannot issue certificates.

I have seen that there are user groups that are in the program and therefore register the request to our user group in the program and be able to contribute to the project.

I'll look forward for your answer
