<p>Hi,</p>
<p>I would also stick to the deadline "end of the year". It is ok if an invoice is sent in January, but better not many months later.</p>
<p>I know, we had this in the past, but it is not so good to have long running grant projects.</p>

<div>Hi,</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I'm preparing the launch of the 2023 grant programme and ran into the following issue with the timeline: Last year, we introduced a rule that project work has to be finalized by the end of the calendar year. This resulted in a 9 months time frame for performing the actual project work. However, this year, there would be only 6 months of project work left if we don't make any other changes. </div>
<div> </div>
<div>Timeline<br />2023-04-04: Call for proposals (4 weeks)<br />2023-05-02: QEP discussion period (2 weeks)<br />2023-05-16: Writing discussion summaries (1 week)<br />2023-05-23: Voting (2 weeks)<br />2023-06-06: Publication of results<br />--- 6 / 9 months of project work ---<br />2023-12-06: Deadline for follow-up reports
<div> </div>
<div>Please let me know if you prefer to stick to the deadline by the end of the calendar year or if you prefer to allow for 9 months of project work.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Regards,</div>
