    It was just me. I didn't ask the permission to the GDAL PSC. And
    honestly it was a protest against stupidity, intolerance and
    fascism.<br>

    <p>Unfortunately! Just protesting by the release name was just a
      fallback to something more ambitious
      (<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://github.com/OSGeo/gdal/pull/11844">https://github.com/OSGeo/gdal/pull/11844</a>) but that wasn't
      technically solid enough.</p>
