It could solve the italian team problem, as they try to review all strings, but for others it would mean loosing lot's of translated strings every time the resources get updated.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">One thing I wonder, do we really need to update all strings when a new QGIS version is released? Could we somehow only update the resources that where changed since last release? <p>Hi,</p>
<p>It seems there's a new feature, under automatic translation fill
up [0](enabled for the QGIS Desktop project), that uses available
regional locale translation as fallback. It was also enabled
(maybe ON by default). I now deactivate it but not sure it has any
impact on strings already translated.</p>

having some issues with untranslated strings that
get translated automatically using Brazilian
Portuguese. This introduces lots of "strange"
translations from our point of view. The main
problem is that we don't have a good way t identify
those translations other than finding them in the
GUI (normally in the middle of a training session
:-P).</div>
