New description:

We are enjoying the ftools plugin for QGIS but desire an enhancement
regarding the JOIN functionality: we are using QGIS with Spatialite
backend and would like to be able to perform JOINs directly in Spatialite
 (which is SQLite based).

Question: Would it be possible to add SQLite support in the JOIN/DBF
dialog window? Since ftools already supports Spatialite through QGIS,
perhaps not too much is missing (I hope)?

 Markus
