#2397: Editing one field in attribute table replicates the data into other fields

 Add a new string field column to a shapefile attribute table, initially
 asigns a value of NULL.
 If any value is then entered into a cell, it is replicated across the rest
 of the column.
 If the changes are saved, the table is refreshed on the screen and shows
 the unmodified cells still as NULL.
