Hello all,

New here at the mail list. My name is Alex and I started working at Grays
Harbor College in Aberdeen, WA. Although we are a small college with a
small program, I am a QGIS enthusiast and as a new Faculty I am planning on
a GIS day around spring 2018. In that event I would like to give a good
deal of attention to QGIS and the open-source nature of GIS nowadays.

If there are other members around the Pacific Northwest, or interested in
the event, let me know. I'd love to hear any ideas. Maybe we can turn a day
into a small GIS conference.

Thanks

Alex Bastos
