Yes, this is a good idea. We need to adopt the versioning scheme
described at:
http://pkg-grass.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/wiki.pl/InfoForDevelopers
So, we can use: 0.7.9+svnYYYYMMDD-0.dgis.unstable.1
Also, I'd like to merge in my latest changes for 0.7.4 into svn.
Then I can dupload them to the archive. Or Tim, you can do it.
Information on creating an Alioth account and uploading are also at the
above URL.
