[Qgis-user] GRASS: Undo while digitizing

Dear QGISers,
I like to discuss the option of using some sort of "undo/redo" features
in QGIS GRASS digitizing module. Using the Digitize-module frequently I
think this can be very useful for production usage of QGIS for
digitizing-projects.
possible (dump) user workflow:
User digitizes some objects. Currently every change is written directly
to the file in the mapset. So far, so good.
User removes a line "by accident". This is also deleted from file
imidiately. How to get the line back? Currently there is no other option
than redigizing (which is not intended).
A sort of "cache" or deleted "flag" for each object would be fine then.
Saving to the real file could be done after hitting the "exit" (or a
sort of "save") button.
This is the view of a non-programmer, so please forgive if the
described process is too naive.
What do others think?
Best regards
Stephan
