[Qgis-user] menu bar not working with http://ppa.launchpad.net/jef-norbit/ubuntu

Hi Group,
I'm using the packages from...
http://ppa.launchpad.net/jef-norbit/ubuntu intrepid main
there was an update to the packages a few days ago and my menu bar / icons
have stopped working. I select an icon (eg toggle editing on a shapefile,
zoom) and there's no response or indication that the mouse click has been
recognised. I can still access those features through the other menus and
they appear to work fine.

Any Tips
