[Qgis-user] No projection systems available on 0.11 (ubuntu)

Relating this problem in my computer (ubuntu hardy):

1. These are the messages issued in the terminal with qgis 0.11
not providing the list of projection systems: perhaps this is
enlightening to somebody:

2. I follow Maciej/Albin directions:
2.1. I "completely remove" all qgis related packages with Synaptic:
libqgis1-dev (0.11.0.2~hardy)
libqgis-core0.11 (0.11.0.2~hardy)
libqgisgrass0.11 (0.11.0.1~hardy)
libqgis-gui0.11 (0.11.0.2~hardy)
libqgispython0.11 (0.11.0~hardy)
python-qgis (0.11.0.2~hardy)
qgis (0.11.0.2~hardy)
qgis-plugin-grass (0.11.0.2~hardy)

2.2. I review the files listed by Albin:
 > /etc/ld.so.conf.d/qgis.conf
not in my system

 > /home/albin/.qgis
 > /home/albin/.config/QuantumGIS/qgis.conf
 > /home/albin/.qgis/qgis.db
I rename .qgis to .gis_old

 > /usr/lib/qgis/libqgis_core.so
not in my system
 > /usr/lib/qgis/libqgis_gui.so
not in my system
 > /usr/lib/qgis
it contains libevis.so (I put it there myself, wrong, it's for 0.10 
only) I remove the directory

2.3. I install the same packages listed in 2.1,
and it works. Seems to have a problem with plugin Profile, I remove it.
This is now the output to the terminal:

BeautifulSoup was not found. Geocoders assuming malformed markup will 
not work.
simplejson was not found. Geocoders relying on JSON parsing will not work.
