[Qgis-user] Point symbol - rotation field

Dear all,

(using Quantum Metis 0.11) there is this wonderful option to rotate
point symbols (in point vector maps). I have an "aspect_deg_ccw"(=aspect
in degrees starting from east=0 degrees and counting counterclockwise)
produced from GRASS' r.slope.aspect module.

I have used this column and I get nice rotated arrow-symbols [1]. How
does this "rotation field" understand rotation? I mean in degrees (I
assume yes), starting from east like GRASS or is it set to north=0
degrees?
