[Qgis-user] Reprojection tool?

Hi!

Is there anybody working on a reprojection plugin
(at least for vector data)? I mean saving a new shp
file with a different projection, not just on the
fly. Or is this
something that can already be done?

I'm using the following ogr2ogr command, but actually
have to use qgis to look at the codes, so a menu based tool
would make sense:

$ ogr2ogr -f "ESRI Shapefile" prova_ICC_geogWGS84.shp -s_srs EPSG:23031 
-t_srs EPSG:4326 prova_ICC.shp
